We will visit the famous Pyramids of Giza: a landmark of ancient Egypt, the Pyramid of Cheops is the largest pyramid in the complex and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We will meet the Great Sphinx, the largest colossus in the world with the shape of a human head and the body of a lion, symbolizing the union between human intelligence and the courage of a lion. We will have lunch at a local restaurant. We will go to a papyrus craft gallery/factory. Free dinner.

Today we will go to Alexandria to visit the catacombs, Alexander’s library, the Roman Theatre, the Column of Bumbai, the Citadel. This is the second largest city in the country located north of Egypt, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The city became known for its endeavor to become, in antiquity, the center of all human knowledge, with the creation of the Library of Alexandria.
Our journey begins with transfer to Siwa Oasis. We will make a tour in the desert in 4×4, stopping in the city of Maraki, with an exciting safari in the dunes of the Sahara. Stop at the fossil area, walk to Lake Shitta, next stop will be Bir Wahed, a fountain known for its thermal properties. Bedouin dinner in the desert. Return to the Hotel.
Departure to visit the Temple of the Oracle of Alexander the Great, dedicated to the god Amun, and the Bath of Cleopatra, the Mountain of Death (Gabel Almawta) which houses several tombs from the XXVI dynasty and the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. Lunch and visit to the Casa – Museu “Casa Siwa”, which preserves clothes, objects of the Siwi culture such as embroidered galabias and shawls, jewelry, rugs, terracotta and traditional household items. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel, and transfer to the train station to take the “slpeeping train”. Dinner and breakfast included.
Arrival in Luxor, transfer to the boat, lunch, and visit to Karnak Temple. The giant complex, named after the god Amun-Ra, was built over nearly 2,000 years and is the largest temple and obelisk in all of Egypt. Visit to the Temple of Luxor, where the long line of sphinxes that leads to the Temple of Karnak stand out. Return to the boat.
At daybreak, those interested can take a balloon ride over the Luxor region (optional). We will visit the Valley of the Kings, considered “the greatest treasure chest ever found by man”.
We will have the opportunity to admire the interior of some of the impressive tombs, with walls decorated with frescoes (if you wish to visit the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun, additional payment will be required on site).
Afterwards, we will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossus of Memnon, with large statues of Pharaoh Amenhotem III. Return to the boat. Navigation to Edfu passing the Esna lock and overnight.
Day to visit the temple of Edfu dedicated to the “god Horus“ with carriage transfer. Navigation and visit to the temple of Kom Ombo, the only one dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed God Sobek and the falcon-headed God Haroeris. We went on to Aswan.
In the morning, visit the Temple of Love “Temple of Philea” dedicated to the goddess Isis, followed by a ride on feluccas (typical Egyptian sailing ships). Return to the boat. Lunch and transfer to the airport to board the flight back home.
